Nancy J. Bond, MEd, CLCP, CCM

Nancy J. Bond, MEd, CLCP, CCM, is a case manager and life care planner who joined The Coordinating Center, a nonprofit community based care coordination agency, in 1984. Ms. Bond is currently the Senior Vice President of Programs and Services/Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the delivery of care management and service coordination services for over 8,000 individuals throughout the State of Maryland. During her tenure at The Center, Ms. Bond has been instrumental in the evolution of The Center’s service delivery system, adapting it to the changing demands of current public and private health care policies and programs. As a certified case manager and certified life care planner, she is also the Director of the Medical Legal Services division and contributes her expertise in a wide range of disabilities to the creation of comprehensive, multidisciplinary life care plans that are reflective not only of the individual needs of the client but also best practices in the field of medicine and rehabilitation. Ms. Bond lectures and consults nationwide and has authored articles on the effective delivery of educational and rehabilitation services, case management and in life care planning. Ms. Bond has been accepted in numerous jurisdictions nationwide as an expert in life care planning and case management. She continues to mentor two other certified life care planners who also work at The Center. In addition to her professional activities, Ms. Bond has maintained a personal interest in advocating for individuals with disabilities in her community. In 2014 Ms. Bond was distinguished as the Volunteer of the Year by the Arc of Howard County, Maryland and in the same year received a similar distinction form the Maryland Association of Community Services.
