Lisa McComb, the CEO and Co-Founder of Rectify, is an operational expert building a new privacy standard for sharing documents. McComb’s expertise results from her 22 years as a paralegal in the corporate legal department at SBC Communications (now AT&T). Lisa was tasked to manage the national legal and regulatory demands when SBC began conducting mergers and acquisitions to re-create AT&T. This work involved the Department of Justice, FCC, hundreds of outside counsel, and coordination with state regulatory response teams. Lisa quickly became the operational expert in protecting sensitive data in documents, so much so, that SBC provided funding for her to start her own company. Rectify has protected tens of millions of records, and Lisa is passionate about making the process less daunting and establishing standards that can be adopted globally.
