CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) 101: More than 76,000 volunteers through 1,000 CASA/GAL (Guardian-Ad-Litem) programs in 49 states give their time to children who find themselves involved with the child welfare system due to abuse or neglect. This on-demand webinar is designed to provide an overview of information about the CASA/GAL volunteer role and CASA’s role in the child welfare system.

Learning objectives:

  • Know how to define the CASA/GAL role.
  • Understand the standards required of all CASA/GAL volunteers to be accepted into a program.
